 Schuylkill Haven Borough Day this coming Saturday. Food, fun. friends, family, not a bad way to spend a Saturday. A cheap entertaining day should be had by all.
 A bit of Fall is in the air,2 months till HoHo arrives, pumpkins,leaves, turkeys ,pigskins..an Election, that pretty much covers all the newsworthy things coming up. I'm out.

Here goes nothing

Too much time and too many thoughts are a terrible combo. With that I begin to write. About what? Well , let us start with a few things I enjoy, my borough, my county, my school district, my state, and my sports. I love my town, and i think all things being equal most residents do also. Is it perfect, no, but utopia isn't near here so Schuylkill Haven will do just fine. As the days move forward i hope to put into words more about all these things, but now i begin with the basics.

Ok, it's not the cure for all that ails society, but that is the highlight for Wednesday. And if we do one thing very well in town it is events. So i expect a warm welcome for the weatherman, a good crowd at Bubeck Park for the evening, good P.R. from WNEP, and plenty of food and drink bought and donations made for St. Joseph's Center.

I have started this for something to do, and for now i stop, as i return to PCN to watch our state sink into the mud.
